Good Performer but Elements Break Time Endemic: more than 12 months.
I've had my 6 meter 4 chemical element yagi at 40 anxiety for nigh 4 years. Adept performer simply the elements keep breaking off correct at the 9/xvi" nut next to the boom. I've replaced 3 of them and now some other is broken off. Problem with this is making me observe another yagi for six meters.

My third ARROW antenna product, and first 4EL 6M Beam.Fantastic. Installed on rotor about ten feet above my roof on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. First contact on band was to Wisconsin. Easy to assemble. Adjusted on ground while mounted on tri-pod. SWR i.3/1. Using on SSB (horizontal), but can even striking repeater (FM) approximately 100 miles away!! Summit QUALITY PRODUCT. THE BEST OF MATERIALS USED IN CONSTRUCTION, and highly recommended.

Not bad Service & Workmanship Time Owned: more than than 12 months.
I have had this antenna since June 2010.
Information technology has been working flawlessly since so.
Purchased it with the Saddle pick.
Earlier today I sent an email maxim that I
was moving the antenna to a new location and needed to purchase the ii inch U-Commodities parcel.

An electronic mail reply from Tim said
"Just transport me your shipping accost, and I'll send those to you at no cost."

Some companies just know how to care for customers!
Whenever asked I always recommend Arrow antennas.

Well engineered Time Owned: 0 to three months.
This is a well engineered antenna fabricated of high quality parts and information technology is Easy to put together. The gamma friction match measurements are right on. It is adequately wideband and heavy duty. I'm glad I chose this vi meter beam antenna. It is everything I was looking for in a half-dozen meter axle.

Possibly built too tough Time Endemic: more than 12 months.
Had this antenna mounted @ 35' for virtually 2 years with no issues. And so while mowing i twenty-four hours I found most a 6" piece of 3/8" solid rod laying under the tower. Looked up and noticed 1 side of the 2d managing director was shorter then the other side. Replaced it and all was good. Eventually sold information technology to a friend who had the same affair happen after virtually a month. Harmonics from wind play havoc with the elements. I believe tubing would be a improve selection to allow some sort of dampening to be installed within the elements.

I own 3 Pointer antennas, and all are absolutely fantastic performers.

Great affair in a small-scale package Time Endemic: more than 12 months.
Very sturdy, quality parts. Easy to get together. Lightweight. I am very happy with it; worked some amazing Es QSO's wih it mounted in my attic at my previous QTH. At the new QTH, it is out side at xxx feet; lots of east/west prop from Due north Carolina to W6/W7. Also smashing into Caribbean and Central America. My installation is a compromise, surrounded past 100 ft oak trees with HOA. So all things considered, it's working quie well.

Workmanship & Value Time Owned: more 12 months.
The machine work is every bit good every bit information technology gets for the price. Yes, if you desire to mount it on a pole larger than ane.five inches, yous'll take to drill 4 holes on the mounting plate(s) and buy 2 U-bolts. Suck it upwards - you lot are a licensed ham! That should not be a problem for y'all. Having worked for 2 of the largest antenna manufacturers in the globe (Decibel Products and Kathrein), we are lucky Arrow Antenna supports the ham community as it does. They could make easier coin in the commerical globe. Information technology is a well engineered value-packed kit that will perform as well every bit any 4 element yagi weighing viii lbs for 50MHz. I tin can be mounted vertically or horizonally polorazed using the stock mountain and turned by a radio shack rotor. Nearly whatsoever manufacturer can make an antenna that works right out of the box. This will work to spec many years afterward it is mounted. Information technology is ruggid as yous'll find. Well congenital, great value Time Endemic: 0 to three months.
This antenna is very well congenital, and it sells for a bang-up cost. I am very pleased with the quality construction, and ease of tuning the gamma lucifer. I have no other yagi up to compare information technology with, but it seems to perform very well for me. My QTH is in sort of a hole, with hills in all directions. Given my geographic limitations, I'd say this antenna is a real winner! I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting to go on six with a directional antenna.

Solid built, dandy performance Fourth dimension Endemic: more than 12 months.
Every bit a fan of Arrow Antennas since the days when they were first built with actual arrows (still have the 2m 4-el homebrew version!), I had no hesitation ownership this one. It'southward been up near 2 years at present at about 25' and running 160W I consistently go great signal reports. I've been able to work simply about anyone I hear from my swamp in SE GA, including numerous contacts with CA, OR, WA, and MT. Can't wait to get my new belfry up this winter and see how information technology does at 50'!

Love the solid elements and overall construction. No problems with the matching organization, only follow the included aligning diagram. (I initially set mine to center of the band and currently use a tuner for 50MHz SSB/Digital but volition be re-adjusting it for low cease this fall, see if that helps). Mast mount clamp is a little funky, doesn't like big piping and tin be tough to get straightened out (and become the antenna level) equally you tighten information technology, merely overall, not a big upshot. Excellent size vs. efficiency – Db gain ratio, lightweight, compact, can be turned with a simple Television rotor.

Corking toll, solid quality, proven operation, prissy folks. What'due south not to like?

Simple, Well Made Time Endemic: 3 to 6 months.
I went to the Arrow Manufacturing plant, and not only did Al and Dot sell me an antenna, they kindly took me through every step of the manufacturing process. Al's automation equipment in activeness is quite amazing. This is small-scale business organisation U.s. in action.
The mounting clamp is too small for larger pipe, the gamma tin be choosy, but this antenna and the people who congenital it are great!
